Striving for Excellence with Customized Biomechanics Customization means patient-centered individual diagnostics, and it should be our goal. This implies excellence when we transition from diagnostic overview to treatment. Excitingly, individualizing our treatments for the patients leads to unique and excellent results. In this lecture, we will explain this customization, evaluation, and our commitment to excellence in the treatment modality of bone-borne expanders. A brief introduction of indications will be shown and the lecturers personal evolution to full customization of MARPE appliances. Additionally, limitations will be discussed, and any necessary surgical procedures will be addressed because excellence also means not harming the patient.
